Rachael Morrow is a Sri Lankan-Australian producer, with an extensive background in all areas of production. Based in Melbourne/Naarm, Rachael produces an array of creative work including, feature & short films, TVC’s and visual art projects. She has a Bachelor of Film & Television from Swinburne University, where she studied under scholarship. Rachael creates work that explores societal and cultural issues, uplifting underrepresented voices and inviting open, honest discussion from international audiences. Her passion to collaborate with artists by facilitating safe spaces, is the reason she became a producer. Bringing diverse, authentic and captivating stories to life, is the undercurrent to all her work.

Rachael has launched her own company Film Tomorrow, an initiative focused on the full spectrum of creative production, where she collaborates with emerging and underrepresented filmmakers to craft moving and unique cinema. 2024 has seen Rachael release her first feature film, Just A Farmer and wrap on her second, First Light. This momentum continues with her beginning production for the web series Displaced, having just received funding from Screen Australia & Vic Screen. She also has several other long form projects in development, whilst her slate of short films have just begun production.  

Rachael’s passion for short form storytelling is internationally recognised in her many award winning short films, a highlight being On Golden Days, which screened in the USA, Tokyo, Melbourne and the Opera House and Me & Mazzy Melancholy selected as part of Vivid 2024, MIFF 2024 Accelerator and Nowness Asia. 

Over the last five years Rachael has as produced a variety of high budget commercials with major clients, including Valentino, Budweiser, Meta, Bonds, Grill’d, Blundstone, Vogue, Belong and many others. She has worked with award winning directors and agencies to bring these concepts to life, further developing her production expertise.
